Candle making kit

In the kit:

  • soy wax 500 g
  • cotton wick 3 pc
  • sticks for aligning the wick 2 pc
  • patchouli essential oil 1 pc (5 ml)
  • dropper 1 pc (3 ml)

Candle-making guide:

  1. Pour the wax into a heat-resistant bowl and melt in a water bath until the wax melts.
  2. Prepare the mould in which you will poure the wax. Secure the wick at the bottom of the mould. Note that the mould for the candle should be selected so that it is 1-2 cm lower than the wick.
  3. Place a stick over the mould to center the wick and secure the wick.
  4. Once the wax has melted, drip the essential oil into the wax using a dropper. Mix evenly. Consider that if you want a stronger aroma, you can add more essential oils but be very careful.
  5. Carefully pour the wax into the mould.
  6. Allow the wax to harden (at least 4-8 h), then remove the stick to center the wick.
  7. Once the candle has cooled, remove it from the mould.
  8. If the wick is too long, cut it off (the wick must be no longer than 1 cm).
  9. Your candle will be ready for use in 24 h, let the candle rest. Enjoy!

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • burn the natural wax candle for up to 3 hours on first burning to create a wax pool. Thereby ensuring that the candle burns out more evenly;
  • for the flame to burn brighter and longer, the candle wick must be extinguished every time;
  • it is recommended that the soya wax candle be placed on a smooth and flat surface;
  • for safety, it is preferable to place the natural wax candle on a pad or in a special candle container;
  • for the candle to burn evenly, straighten the wick, and if the wick is too long, shorten it when burning
